How It Works
When a capacitor is switched ON, there is usually a very high inrush current. The CJ19 design has built-in current limiting and pre-charge resistor arrangements that reduce the peak surge, protecting both the contactor contacts and the capacitor itself. This makes them safer and more reliable than general-purpose contactors for this application.
